The benefits of ubiquitous broadband access across Nevada are numerous, and encouraging all Nevadans to embrace the potential of the Internet is a very important task. We’re working to ensure that these things are accomplished so that Nevada and its citizens remain competitive in today’s digital world.

As a nonprofit organization, Connect Nevada’s mission is to close the digital divide by working with the Office of the Governor, the Nevada Broadband Task Force, and Nevada’s broadband providers to ensure that all communities - rural and urban - have access to the Internet’s unlimited potential through a high-speed connection.  In the coming months, Connect Nevada will be working to (1) map broadband service availability across the state, (2) understand broadband adoption rates in each Nevada county, and (3) determine what barriers exist that inhibit broadband usage. The maps and data that result from our work will be available on this site, and will be used to positively impact Nevada’s broadband landscape for future generations.  Stay tuned and check back often – your involvement is important to our success!

Connect Nevada, in conjunction with the Nevada Broadband Task Forces, has now launched Nevada’s newly completed broadband availability maps and BroadbandStat, an interactive mapping application. You can view a presentation from the launch here.
