By Jeremy Thacker

We’re less than 24 hours away from the second annual Nevada Broadband Summit and it’s not too late to register for the event. However, if you can’t attend, you can still take part.

The 2012 Summit: Connecting Communities will be streamed live via the Internet!

You can also follow the day’s highlights on Twitter with hash tag #NVBroadband.

Simply log onto the Connect Nevada Summit page and click on the live stream. The event will start at 10 a.m. PDT.

Nearly a hundred attendees are expected at the Windmill Library tomorrow in Las Vegas for the daylong agenda that includes an exciting lineup of speakers as well as interactive sessions focusing on broadband access, adoption, and use. The event will bring state, county, and local leaders together to discuss local engagement and local issues surrounding broadband expansion and the critical role technology is playing in Nevada’s economic future.

The summit is being co-hosted by nonprofit Connect Nevada with the governor’s Nevada Broadband Task Force and sponsored by the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District.

Several tools and interactive resources will be demonstrated during the summit. Anyone with an interest in championing local broadband expansion in his or her Nevada community is encouraged to attend and contribute to the discussion by submitting questions through Connect Nevada Twitter using hash tag #NVbroadband.
