The Mapping Tools contain a set of tools used to interact with the map display and three modes of operation to display broadband coverages: Basic, Advanced, or Analysis. The following tool options are included. Select the title for each option to learn more.
The Find Address tool is an address locator tool geocodes addresses and returns results based on a rank order of best match.
The Identify Provider tool geocodes selected address points and returns results based on a rank order of best match.
Demographics by Area tool calculates basic demographic information for a selected point, line, or area.
Print allows you to produce a hardcopy map.
E-mail Map sends an e-mail of the coverage map.
Feedback sends and e-mail including the coverage map to the Connect Nevada team with a custom message regarding BroadbandStat.
Help opens the online help system to provide you with information on out-of-the-box functionality.
Login allows you to enter appropriate credentials to access the Analysis tab to perform coverage analysis.
Basic coverage displays Inventory and Adoption options to visualize coverage in the state.
Advanced Coverage displays RSS feeds, county data, bookmarks, map annotations, and pie charts.
Analysis contains priority modeling options based on demographic information.
The Find an Address tool is an address finder tool that geocodes an address and returns matching in order of score ranking. Based on the ranked scores, the map display navigates to the highest ranked result. A locator image is added to the map display to indicate the geocoded address. A popup window for each result displays information for coverage providers for the selected location including company name and contact information. The Identify Provider tool is an address finder that geocodes a selected address point and returns corresponding providers in order of score ranking. Based on the ranked scores, the map display navigates to the highest ranked result. A pop up box is added to the map display to indicate the geocoded address or location with the corresponding providers. For detailed steps on how to identify providers, see Identify Provider.

The Demographics by Area tool provides basic demographic information for a selected point, line, or polygon area. The information returned displays the population, household density, the block number, and the number of households encompassed that location. The Print option allows you to produce a hardcopy map from BroadbandStat. For more information on printing, see Print.

The E-mail Map tool allows you to create an e-mail with the broadband coverage map to send to another person. In the tool, you can create a personalized e-mail message and subject. For detailed steps on how to send the map and an e-mail, see E-mail Map.

The Feedback tool allows you to submit feedback to the Connect Nevada team along with the broadband coverage map. For detailed steps on how to send the map and feedback, see Feedback.

The Help tool brings up the online help system to provide detailed information for a particular topic or feature of BroadbandStat. You can query the help, search the Index, or navigate through the table of contents for topics of interest.
